Vineyard Cottage at Goodluck Homestead is a charming off-grid eco-retreat on a working regenerative farm in the heart of the Overberg. Surrounded by fynbos and vineyards, the cottage offers breathtaking views towards Walker Bay and the Kleinriviersberg mountains.

Built using locally sourced materials, including site-harvested timber, clay, sand, and straw, it embodies sustainability and craftsmanship. With pure spring-fed water, solar power, and a wood-fired hot tub, it provides a tranquil escape unaffected by loadshedding.

Designed for a couple or solo retreat, the cottage features a beautifully appointed en-suite bedroom with a king-size bed, a freestanding bath, and a walk-in shower.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, fridge, cutlery, crockery, and tea and coffee facilities. The living area, with a cozy fireplace and Wi-Fi, extends onto a covered patio with outdoor seating, a built-in braai, and uninterrupted vineyard views. Firewood is provided.

Guests are welcome to explore the farm, swim or fish in the dams, and stroll through the vegetable gardens.

As Goodluck Homestead follows regenerative farming practices, no toxic herbicides or pesticides are used, though some farm-related noise may occur.

Located just 4 km from Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary and 10 km from Stanford’s shops and restaurants, the cottage is also within easy reach of De Kelders, Grotto Beach, Franskraal, and Danger Point Lighthouse.

Guest welcome and check-in at the main homestead before being escorted to the farmhouse.
